Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 21, 2026
This privacy policy explains how the Apex English Challenge app ("the App"), developed by MANSH Solution ("we", "us"), handles your information. The App is free to use.
Summary
- You can use the App without an account. Your progress then stays on your device.
- If you sign in with Google, your progress is backed up to our cloud database so it can be restored on other devices.
- Other signed-in players can see the username you chose and your weekly XP on the leaderboard. They never see your real name or email address.
- We do not show ads, sell data, or use analytics or tracking tools.
- You can delete your account and all of its data at any time from Settings → Delete Account.
Information We Collect
| Information | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Google account identifier, name and email address | Only if you sign in with Google | To sign you in and link your progress to your account. Your name and email are held by Firebase Authentication and are not shown to other players. |
| Username you choose | During setup | Shown on the weekly leaderboard to other signed-in players. |
| Learning progress: XP, level, streak, words learned, games played, correct answers, trophies, daily tasks | As you play | To run the App's features. Stored on your device; also synced to the cloud if you are signed in. |
| Weekly leaderboard entry: username and weekly XP | If you are signed in | To rank you against other players. |
| App settings: native language, speech speed, difficulty, reminder time | When you change them | To personalise the App. Synced to the cloud if you are signed in (reminder settings stay on your device). |
| Device integrity check (Google Play Integrity) | When the App talks to our servers | To confirm requests come from the genuine App, protecting your data and the leaderboard from abuse. |
Pronunciation uses your device's built-in text-to-speech engine. Daily reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Neither sends data to us.
Third-Party Services
The App uses the following Google services, which process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies:
- Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, App Check)
- Google Play Services (Google Sign-In, Play Integrity)
How Your Data Is Protected
Data is sent over encrypted connections. Our database rules allow each signed-in user to read and change only their own data; the only information visible to other players is the leaderboard username and weekly XP. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Keeping and Deleting Your Data
We keep your data while your account exists. To delete it, open Settings → Delete Account and confirm with your Google account. This permanently deletes your account, your cloud data, your leaderboard entries and the progress stored on that device. You can also ask us to delete your data by emailing the address below.
If you never sign in, your data exists only on your device and is removed when you uninstall the App.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
